Membership benefits

ELOMA is a proud Chapter member of ALA » providing our membership with access to the extensive ALA benefits along with our ELOMA Membership benefits shown below.

The general meetings provide an opportunity to network amongst the ELOMA membership.  Often the meetings will include a business portion, an educational presentation, and sometimes a presentation from our Business Partners.  These meetings are generally an hour in length and usually held in the Edmonton Downtown core.  Lunch is provided.

The section meetings are informal and are an exchange of ideas among members.  Topics have included human resources, facilities management, finance, and information technology.  These meetings are separate from the General Meetings and are coordinated by committee volunteers.  Speakers are usually present, although some sessions may be networking focused.  Lunch is served.

The ELOMA Membership Directory lists contact information for all members including firm size and is available to all paid members.  The membership directory is also provided to our Business Partners based on level of sponsorship.

ELOMA's Annual Salary and Benefits survey provides compensation and benefits information on numerous professional and administrative positions broken down by firm sizes. The survey gives administrators accurate and up to date compensation information for legal positions (professional and administrative) in the Edmonton Market. Participants receive the survey as a benefit of membership, however participation in the survey data is required to be provided with copies of the results.

Our members only area of the website offers a dynamic community for those who have current membership.  Information on events, photographs, handouts, and other key member information is kept in this area and accessible by log in.  Connections to our private LinkedIn and Facebook pages may also be viewed here.
